Since its inception M & M Nursery has grown large hedging elements (plants) for the 'Instant Hedging' market. In recent years we have concentrated more and more on this area of production with an aim to becoming Irelands leading 'Mature Hedging' field nursery.
We have strict production schedules to ensure hedging elements are produced to the highest quality possible. These procedure protocols cover young plant production, planting out, fertilisation, irrigation, pest control, pruning, under cutting and harvesting. By following these procedures to a very high standard it ensures plants are fit for purpose, do exactly what it says on the tin and hit the ground running when planted out on site.
We grow many different types of large hedging. Varieties include

Copper Beech,
Laurel (4 varieties),
Portuguese laurel,
Yew,
Cedar,
Box,
Hornbeam,
Osmanthus.
